The Library participates in the online educational drama program organized by the Xenia Kalogeropoulou Theatrical Workshop, entitled "Eliza travels with children from all over Greece".
The program will take place on Thursday, October 14 at 6:00 p.m. in the Library with playwrights and teachers who will connect via Zoom, and is aimed at children of primary and secondary education.
The play deals with the story of a different girl who, together with her friends and a parrot, charters a ship to find her lover. The play, through the narration of a fascinating adventure, deals with issues such as physical distance and emotional closeness, subverts gender stereotypes, social roles, highlights companionship, friendship, inner strength and hope.
At the end of the program, Ms. Xenia Kalogeropoulou, in a short video, will share with the children her own thoughts and quests that led her to write Eliza.
The program lasts 2 hours and will be in order of priority, as the maximum number of participants can not exceed 20 people.
